  5. The Profile: Manufacturing Process and Quality Management system is a
  6. manufacturing control system developed specifically for process industry
  7. applications. The system can be used in both make-to-order and make-to-stock
  8. operations. The recipe/product build includes the packaging makeup, complete
  9. and intermediate products, process and material yields, the process method and
  10. QA testing instructions. Product and material specification, HACCP, quarantine,
  11. positive release and traceability are to BS5750 and ISO9000 standards. The
  12. product recall functions have been automated to provide fast and effective
  13. recall facilities. The system handles multiple units of measure with automatic
  14. item, weight and volume conversion. MRP is over user-defined planning horizons
  15. and provides a particularly powerful tool for companies operating with short
  16. shelf-life materials and short order lead times. Modules include work in
  17. progress tracking, production scheduling, capacity planning and production
  18. costing. The system is database-independent and can be fully integrated to the
  19. Profile: Warehouse Control and Distribution applications.
